Design The Door Of Your Dreams
All About The Door create and manufacture bespoke kitchen doors for replacement or new fitted kitchens – most notably for Ikea Metod carcasses.
The start-up-business required a website packed full of features including a ‘Product Builder’ where visitors can create a bespoke 3D door model. The website would also require an eCommerce functionality, allowing visitors to purchase a wide selection of handmade kitchen door samples via an online shop.
What We Did
As the company primarily focus on IKEA kitchen units, we wanted to create a design that would reflect the IKEA brand – we achieved this by combining large open planned pages with lots of excellent imagery.
The main challenge of the website was always going to be the ‘Product Builder’ – using an array of attributes (colour, finish and handle), visitors have the ability to create their very own 3D model door design.
We built and developed a 3D modelling system that fits into the website seamlessly, allowing users to create their very own design which can even be saved and shared online!
